Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Color Blend Foam Review

So if you haven't already noticed the hottest thing in hair color is foam/mousse hair color. I decided to try the Nice 'n Easy color blend foam cause I've always liked the Nice 'n Easy hair color. This hair color is very easy to apply, I did my entire head with one bottle and it really does have excellent coverage, the foam really gets those hard to get areas too which is great for thick hair. I also liked the way the color looked afterward, it was shiny and natural looking, which I loved. Although this product has amazing results, it was quite messy! This hair color has a loose and airy foam with small to medium sized bubbles that pop really easily. When the little bubbles pop, the color splashes everywhere! Although the color was quite messy, I can see myself using the Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Color Blend Foam again because the colour was so great. This product is on out on store shelves and retails for about $10.99 - $12.99 depending where you go.

Honey banana mask

So this week I noticed my skin was feeling a little dry, so I decided to make my own homemade mask for dry skin using just a banana & honey. All I did was mix together half a banana and two table spoons of honey. I actually used my blender for this, but you can also just mash up a banana, add the honey to it and then mix it together. After I finished blending the banana and honey together I put the mask on my face for about 10-15 minutes. Overall this mask gave me great results! It moisturized my skin and made my skin feel radiant. Enjoy!

L'Oreal's Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base Review

All I can say about this product is WOW! I absolutely love this base. Let me start by saying that I have spent more money on alot of other products like this that are double the cost and claim to do the same thing. Whats great about L'Oreal's  Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base is that it really gives your skin a nice matte effect which I love and is great for oily skin but also doesn't seem to dry my skin out either. Also, it did make my pores look much smaller and it claims it won't clog your pores either and so far I haven't had any breakouts. I will say though that the campaign ads and commercials make this product look better than it actually is, but I still love it and I do find that it is effective. I purchased this product at my local Wal-Mart for $12.99 and it comes in a little box.

L’Oréal Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer Self-Tanning Lotion Review

   So, one of the many products that I love trying (especially during spring and summer months) are self tanner lotions. They all claim to give amazing results, but few of them actually follow through with these claims. I've always been a fan of the L’Oréal Sublime Bronze line of self tanning lotions and have gotten awesome results from these products in the past. So, when I decided that since summer is right around the corner I figured it would be a perfect time to try L’Oréal Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer Self-Tanning Lotion.
   First, I can't stress enough how important it is to exfoliate before using any self tanner! This will prevent streaking and give you a more even tan, so this is a very important step.
   Now, What makes L’Oréal Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer Self-Tanning Lotion different from other self tanners? For starters, its the colour of the lotion itself, its already brown so you can actually see where your applying it, which makes it pretty goof proof. Also, the scent. Most self tanners have a distinct smell, this one however smells very tropical and make it not so obvious that its a self tanner. It dries very quick too, usually I have to wait like 30 minutes in my undies for a self tanner lotion to dry but this one dries in about 10 to 15 minutes and doesn't leave a greasy feel. It gives your skin a hint of shimmer and gives an instant bronze look leaving your skin looking fresh and glowing.

   Overall, I felt like it lived up to its claims and I will continue to use this product.

Nail polish review: Essie in muchi muchi

I love love this nail polish!! It was opaque in about 2 coats, and is such a pretty of shade of pink. this colour is great for spring and goes with any skintone, but I think it looks awesome with my darker skin tone. I usually don't like colours enough to have them on my fingers and toes, but this one is so pretty and I love how it looks. Also, I did my nails a few days ago and they've barely chiped..very impressed! This is my new favourite nail colour! :)

Product Revew: Quo bamboo brush set

So I recently had some retail therapy on Friday and I ended up picking up the the new spring bamboo brush set by Quo at shoppers drug-mart, this is the newest brush collection they came out with since the holiday collection, and it's all mine :) The brush set is $40.00 at shoppers drug mart and comes with a brush roll and 4 duel-ended brushes;
- Powder/ Angled Blush brush
- Spot Concealer/ Concealer brush
- Blending/ Fine Point Liner brush, and
- Angled Brow brush/ Brow spoolie.
I was most excited about the angled brow brush cause I needed a new one badly & this one makes a huge difference, my eyebrows looked fabulous! So, overall this brush set was definitely worth the 40 bucks cause it makes makeup application much easier and gives fabulous results.
